Meet Indu Babu
Indu founded Melted Stories in Trivandrum, and every candle passes through her hands: bouquets that never wilt, desserts too pretty to eat, and little bears that stay on the shelf long after the occasion.
Her story

A maker of many crafts
Candles are one of many crafts in Indu’s hands. She also makes resin art, scrapbooks and memory albums, mandala, doodle and mixed-media pieces, which she shares as Artfolio by Indu. That range shows in the candles: an eye for colour, the patience of mandala work and the clean finish of resin.

Every step, by hand
She prepares the wax, pours, and sculpts each petal, macaron and bear one at a time, then finishes and packs every order herself. New designs start on her worktable, and so do custom orders in your colours and scents.

At fairs, stalls and workshops
You’ll often find Indu behind a Melted Stories stall at craft fairs and pop-ups around Trivandrum. She teaches too, guiding beginners in candle making, resin art, scrapbooking, mandala, doodle and mixed media.
